The mother of all red carpets: THE MET GALA

The Met Gala is dubbed as fashion’s biggest night, and IT IS!!!

But did you know that the Met serves to raise money for the museum's Costume Institute? In fact, the Met Gala/MetBall, was formally called the Costume Institute Gala/Costume Institute Benefit, because it is a fundraising gala held for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.

Of course the purpose of the Gala is to still raise money, but over the years, the annual par-tay has evolved from a dinner of socialites to a must-watch themed red carpet, featuring star attendees from all over the world. PS: Guests are personally invited by the one and only, Anna Wintour. 💁🏽‍♀️

Now that we have given you some background info, here’s the theme for this year: The Garden of Time. If the invite-only guests take the theme literally, then the red carpet should be filled with lots of flowers! We mean, it is currently Spring in America so florals for Spring will truly be GROUNDBREAKING.

Guests haven’t been officially named, but here’s who we are expecting to see this year: Rihanna, ASAP Rocky, Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Tyla, Doja Cat, Halle and Chloe Bailey, Blake Lively, Gwendoline Christie, Lana Del Ray, Margot Robbie, Anne Hathaway, Miley Cyrus, Hunter Schafer, Lizzo, Victoria Monet, Irina  Shayk, Kylie and Kendall Jenner.

Rihanna has been named the Queen of The Met, but we have to admit that other stars have given her a run for her money! Think Blake Lively, Zendaya, Lady Gaga, and Cardi B to name a few. Just take a look below. . .

The 2024 Met Gala will take place on Monday, 6 May 2024. Don’t worry about missing all the action because Imprecca will be there to share all the looks worth mentioning. Just keep your eyes glued on our IG stories.
